UM6P, OCP SBU Mining, and EDF France joined forces to advance green mining and energy transition

On the 24^th of September, UM6P, OCP (SBU Mining), and EDF France signed a Memorandum of Understanding to develop an innovation and skills ecosystem supporting the energy transition.

The MoU focuses on green drying using green hydrogen as a strategic lever to decarbonise mining operations. The agreement was signed by Mrs. Béatrice Buffon – CEO of EDF Power Solutions, Mr. Faris Derrij - Managing Director of SBU Mining, OCP Group, and Mr. Hicham El Habti - President of UM6P, marking an important step towards strengthened cooperation among the three institutions.
