The College of Computing inaugurated its new branch at UM6P Rabat Campus

On the 24^th of September, the College of Computing officially inaugurated its new branch within the University’s Rabat campus, marking a milestone in its mission to advance digital education and research and to support Morocco and Africa in addressing strategic challenges in the digital era.

The ceremony brought together academic partners, industry leaders, and institutional representatives. Keynotes were delivered by Pr. Rachid Guerraoui - President of the College of Computing Steering Committee, and Mrs. Ibtissam Bennouna - Head of the Rabat branch, who presented the College’s vision and role in shaping the future of computing.

Faculty members also presented their expertise through short talks, offering insight into the academic and research environment. With its first cohort of engineering cycle students in 2025/2026, UM6P Rabat Campus is set to become a hub for learning, innovation, and research in digital sciences.
