MAHIR Center engaged youth in dialogue on creativity and identity

This week, the MAHIR Center welcomed writer, translator, and visual artist Mr. Hassan Bourkia for an exchange with youth participants.

Mr. Bourkia shared insights on the power of narratives, connecting themes from Jorge Luis Borges and One Thousand and One Nights to the enduring influence of storytelling. He discussed his journey as an artist and his belief in integrating art into education, describing pedagogy as a form of art. The discussion also explored the role of literature and art in shaping identity and human experience.

Prework 2024 connected students with industry leaders

On the 27th of November, the Career Center hosted the 5th edition of Prework at the University Mohammed VI Polytechnic Campus in Benguerir.

Throughout the day, participants engaged in interactive sessions, personalized career guidance sessions, and networking opportunities. These activities provided students with valuable advice tailored to their aspirations while also allowing recruiters to discover emerging talent from UM6P.

FGSES Open Day showcased academic programs and campus life

On the 23rd of November, the Faculty of Governance, Economics, and Social Sciences (FGSES) organized an Open Day at UM6P Campus in Rabat, welcoming over 2,000 participants.

Visitors explored the campus through guided tours, engaged with various entities, and learned about FGSES's academic programs. As a side event, the FGSES Agora Club hosted an oratory contest featuring high school students from across Morocco. Participants showcased their skills and knowledge on topics such as political science, sociology, technology, and economics.

UM6P delegation participated in the 2nd phase of Africa Canarias Challenge

From the 26th to the 29th of November, a delegation from University Mohammed VI Polytechnic took part in the 2nd phase of the program “Africa Canarias Challenge”, in which UM6P is a co-partner, the first phase of which was hosted last October at StartGate within the Benguerir Campus.
