UM6P Launches its new international branch in the United States to Bridge African and American Innovation Ecosystems
On the 8th of September, University Mohammed VI Polytechnic inaugurated its United States Global Hub in New York, reinforcing its presence within international academic and industrial ecosystems. The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Mr. Youssef Amrani, Ambassador of Morocco to the United States, His Excellency Mr. Omar Hilale, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Morocco to the United Nations in New York, as well as a delegation from UM6P.
With offices in New York and Cambridge, the hub enables collaboration between African and American researchers, students, and entrepreneurs through joint research projects, academic exchanges, and innovation initiatives. It also provides African start-ups with access to venture capital and technology networks in North America, while supporting the adaptation of U.S. innovations to African contexts.
On the sidelines of the inauguration, a Moroccan Talents Meeting brought together professionals and entrepreneurs from the diaspora to foster networking, knowledge transfer, and engagement in national development projects.
