Global photovoltaic experts gathered for IEC standards meeting at UM6P

the Green Energy Park hosted the IEC Technical Committee 82 (TC82) Working Group 2 (WG2) meeting on photovoltaic standards for the first time in Morocco at UM6P Campus in Benguerir.

The event brought together around 50 experts from 12 countries, along with remote participants, to review and develop international standards for photovoltaic modules.

Discussions were focused on improving the safety, performance, and reliability of PV systems, while addressing technological advancements and evolving manufacturing practices. New initiatives were also introduced to support the quality and durability of photovoltaic technologies.
