Dr. David HAYES is Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Africa Business School. Pr. Hayes holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and operational Management from Auburn university, a Master of Business Administration from the university of North Florida, and Doctorate in Business and Administration degrees from Skema Business School, France, university Jean Moulin Lyon 3, France, and the Business Science Institute, Luxembourg. Before joining ABS, Hayes was a professor of entrepreneurship at Western California university and a professor at the university of North Carolina at Asheville, where he was responsible for entrepreneurship, business, and marketing courses. Dr Mahmoud ISMAIL teaches Project Management, Lean Management, and Supply Chain Management at Emines - School of Industrial Management of Mohamed VI Polytechnic university in Benguerir, Morocco. Pr. Ismail obtained a degree in Mining Engineering from the Polytechnic university of Annaba in Algeria, a Diploma of Advanced Studies, and a Ph.D. in Mining Techniques and Economics from the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Mines de Paris. Ismail has directed his students in various activities in industrial management, including mining, civil engineering, automotive industry, aeronautics, and agribusiness. Pr. Dr. Btissam ENNAFFAH is an Affiliate Professor at Mohammed VI Polytechnic university (uM6P) and Founder and General Manager of the agro-food analysis laboratory Laboralim. Pr. Ennaffah is a doctor in phytopathology and laureate of the university of Sciences of Tunis. Before uM6P, Pr. Ennaffah was head of the division in charge of the coordination of the national laboratories of the National Fisheries Institute and Seconded to FAo in charge of joining the 'accore' group, responsible for revising a guideline to be followed by professionals in the classification of bivalve-mollusk production areas. She has years of research program management in the field of food control. Pr. Dr. Manal MHADA is a Teacher researcher at Mohammed VI Polytechnic university (uM6P). She is a biologist who holds a Bachelor's degree in rowth and protection of Plants from universite Cadi Ayyad Marrakesh, a Master's degree from the Institute Agronomique et veterinary Hassan II in Biotechnology and Plant Breeding, and a Ph.D. in Agrobiodiversity from the Institute Agronomique et veterinaire Hassan II. As a Teacher researcher, Dr. Mhada is working on germplasm establishment and value chain valorization. She is also working under the uM6P and MIT Research Program framework in the 'Advanced Seed Technology: Controlling Seed Microenvironment' through the Biomaterials project. Dr. Mhada also co-founded 'Amendy Foods', a healthy-food startup, which assists farmers in quinoa production, designs quinoa-based recipes, and delivers to Moroccans products adapted to their cookery habits. At uM6P, Dr. Mhada is working in the Biodiversity and Plant Sciences Program. Through this program, she aims to enhance biodiversity for food and nutrition security in Africa by focusing on 'orphan Crops' that are locally adapted and mainly under-researched. Chef Yves SAMAKe is Corporate Executive Chef Africa Business School (ABS), School of Hospitality Business & Management (SHBM) at Mohammed VI Polytechnic university (uM6P), where he oversees all culinary operations for the SHBM. Pr. Samake graduated with CAP, BEP, Bac Prof cuisine, Graduated of the Ecole Hoteliere de Paris with a BTS in hotel and business. He also attended Ferrandi: A higher school of French cuisine. Pr. Samake's professional experiences include Commis de cuisine in various Parisian restaurants, chateau Elan and Resort, Georgia, uSA, and twenty years with The Ritz-Carlton hotels for whom he worked in Buckhead, Georgia; Montego Bay, Jamaica; Dubai, uAE; Half Moon Bay, California; Washington DC; and most recently for the Ritz-Carlton Rabat pre-opening. Although his cooking techniques are primarily French, Chef Samake is heavily influenced by his West African origins and the different places and countries in which he worked. Chef Samake has experienced a unique professional trajectory, from cooking in Dubai on a supertanker, to culinary competition in Jamaica and writing a recipe book of spa cuisine in the uSA. Pr. Samake is also an avid kickboxer and 5th-degree black belt.
Dr. oliver BEINER is a Program Manager at Mohammed VI Polytechnic university (uM6P). Pr. Beiner earned a Superior Technician Diploma in Hotels and Restaurants from Lausanne Hotel School, a Master's in Business Administration, a Diploma in Sustainable Management, Self-Leadership Certification from HEC university of Geneve, a Pedagogical Certification from HES-So, and an Adult Trainer Certification from FSEA. Before uM6P, Pr. She earned her Doctorate in Hospitality Administration from Texas Tech university, studied Cuisine at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, France, and earned Masters and Bachelor degrees from The Pennsylvania State university. Industry experience includes CEo of Contract Consultants, a multi-million-dollar conference and event planning venue, and Executive Chef and owner of a gastro-cafe and art gallery in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Williams is an eminent scholar in the field of gastro-tourism and gastro-destination development. Her research often involves multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams. Pr. Williams publishes in top-tier academic journals, is regularly cited, and is a recurring invited international keynote speaker on gastro-tourism and its economic and quality of life impact on local communities, particularly in developing parts of the world. Pr. Fatine AMRANI is an Independent Professor at Mohammed VI Polytechnic university (uM6P). Pr. She started her career in strategy consulting in Morocco and the united States. She then spent three years developing and leading healthcare initiatives for Rabat major real estate development firm.
