UM6P brought academic and literary contributions to SIEL in Rabat
University Mohammed VI Polytechnic participated in the International Book and Publishing Fair (SIEL) 2025 in Rabat through the Institute for Advanced Studies (IAS – UM6P), marking the official debut of UM6P Press.
UM6P Press presented a selection of scientific works, critical essays, and literary pieces, reflecting a clear editorial ambition: to publish thought-provoking books that foster reflection and dialogue. A special focus was given to works produced within the university’s academic and research ecosystem, contributing to a dynamic intellectual presence at the fair. During the event, Mr. Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication, visited the UM6P Press booth, recognizing the university’s efforts to contribute to Morocco’s literary and academic landscape.
In parallel to its participation at SIEL, the Learning Center organized two masterclasses at UM6P Campus in Benguerir as side events, further extending the spirit of dialogue and literary engagement. Additionally, the Learning Center coordinated a student trip for students from the Rabat and Benguerir campuses to visit the fair, offering them an immersive cultural and educational experience.
