Faculty engaged in learning-focused design workshop with University of Virginia
From the 16th to the 20th of June, the Center for Teaching Excellence, in collaboration with the Center for Teaching Excellence at the University of Virginia, conducted a five-day training on Learning-Focused Course Design at UM6P Campus in Benguerir.
This initiative aimed to support UM6P faculty in developing learner-centered curricula and enhancing pedagogical impact. The sessions engaged 25 participants through a structured approach combining theory, practice, and peer collaboration. The training was supported by UM6P Human Resources-Faculty and the UM6P Institute of Education Sciences.
Results indicated that 91.8% of participants affirmed the training met expectations, 95.2% expressed confidence in applying the methodologies, and the same percentage would recommend it to colleagues.
