Al Moutmir launched its first Community of Practice on Livestock in Marrakech

On the 10^th of April, Al Moutmir launched its first Community of Practice (CoP) on Livestock in Marrakech, bringing together over 60 participants, including farmers, cooperatives, researchers, agronomists, public and private sector professionals, and technology providers.

The event focused on the role of science, technology, and innovation in improving livestock health as a foundation for food security and sustainable agriculture. Discussions addressed current sector challenges and explored opportunities for collaboration, research, and capacity-building. Participants also examined how institutions such as University Mohammed VI Polytechnic can contribute to building a more resilient livestock ecosystem through applied research and innovation-driven solutions.

This CoP marks a step forward in creating a collaborative platform that connects scientific knowledge with field practice in support of inclusive and sustainable development.
