The Rabat School of Governance and Economics was founded in 2008 by a non-profit foundation, la Fondation pour l'Enseignement des Sciences Economiques, Politiques et Sociales (FESEPS) with the aim to reintroduce cutting-edge training in political sciences and economics into the Moroccan academic setting. In 2014, the School became The Faculty of Governance and Political, Economic and Social Sciences, of Mohammed VI Polytechnic University.
The Faculty offers three programs, available through a teaching and research system aiming to be a pole of excellence:
- A high-level program in social sciences (M2S), with courses delivered by the best Moroccan and international specialists in social anthropology and sociology.
- High-level course in economics (MSE) delivered by a teaching and research staff with international visibility of issues related to development and public economy.
- A high-level course in Political Science and Law (EGE) for teaching and research on State, public policy and governance
