500 Minutes of Collective Intelligence: Smart Farming

From July 25th to 27th, 2025, UM6P Rabat Campus hosted the 4th edition of 500 Minutes of Collective Intelligence, under the theme: “Smart Farming – Leveraging IoT and AI for Precision Agriculture in Africa.”
The event was organized by the International Students Club (ISC), in collaboration with the International Student Office (ISO), Student Organizations, Leadership & Engagement (SOLE), the School of Collective Intelligence (SCI), the Collective Intelligence Consortium (CIC), the International Association of Students in Agricultural and Related Sciences (IAAS), and the Climate Awareness Club (CAC).
Gathering 140 students and young professionals from across Morocco, the three-day challenge explored how data-driven tools and emerging technologies can transform African agriculture. Through workshops, mentorship, and a startup-style innovation challenge, participants co-developed solutions to real-world farming issues, empowering a new generation of changemakers committed to sustainable agriculture and environmental resilience.
