The 4th edition of Local Domotics Competition explored agri-tech solutions for urban homes
From the 25th to the 27th of April, the Archi Tech Student Club, in collaboration with Student Organizations, Leadership & Engagement (SOLE), SAP+D, 1337 Coding School, and the College of Computing, organized the 4th edition of the Local Domotics Competition at UM6P Campus in Benguerir.
The 38-hour competition brought together students from UM6P and the National Schools of Architecture in Rabat and Marrakech. Working in interdisciplinary teams, participants explored how to integrate architecture and smart technologies in response to urban housing challenges. This edition focused on agriculture-integrated housing, with teams designing smart homes that allow residents to manage food production through connected systems, supporting food security in African cities.
