Innovation and ecology came together at ReBuild Challenge final

On the 23rd of April, the final round of ReBuild Challenge 2 was held at the International Agricultural Fair in Meknès (SIAM). The event was organized by the Social Experience Program, in collaboration with the ReBuild Initiative, StartGate, the OCP Foundation, and the National Agency for Water and Forests (ANEF).

The challenge brought together multidisciplinary student teams who proposed solutions after field visits to the national parks of Ifrane and Toubkal. The three awarded teams were T-Fish, Eco Connect, and Isolux.

T-Fish received the first prize for promoting local aquaculture and sustainable fish farming. Eco Connect secured the second prize for developing virtual reality and mapping tools to enhance the experience of park visitors. The third prize went to Isolux for creating eco-friendly insulation panels made from natural local materials.
