The General Directorate of Meteorology and UM6P formalized an agreement to advance climate and meteorology research

On the 9^th of April, an agreement was signed between the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) and University Mohammed VI Polytechnic at its Campus in Rabat, marking the launch of a collaboration in meteorological and climate research.

The agreement aims to strengthen applied research in meteorology, climate science, and related fields, while supporting national priorities in adaptation, resilience, and sustainable development.

The collaboration will also promote data exchange, joint scientific programs, and capacity building initiatives, enabling both institutions to co-develop innovative tools and methodologies that respond to climate challenges and contribute to informed decision-making in Morocco.
